The independent blog has a monthly review of the accounting IT solutions, tax, as well as political and finance commentary. I am truly passionate about writing and expressing the opinion or just bringing the useful information to aid businesses or students in the same profession. I believe, that a commercial awareness is a key to building an understanding of the finance world as well as being on top of the recent changes in the reporting or tax law.
I have the accounting and tax background, and recently I won a scholarship to study MBA course at the University of Lincoln. I am also few minutes away to become a chartered certified accountant in the UK law stream. I have been studying for the last three years and planning to qualify fully by the end of this year 2013.
My work experience in the finance is over ten years, with about 6 years being employed by the British and New Zealand government officials.I found working for the public sector inspirational, especially undertaking the role of internal auditor in the last years. I truly believe that auditing is my dream job, I really enjoy taking certain procedures to ensure that departments run the best in terms of controls, reporting, management. Once I finish the MBA course, I hope to join the Big Four accounting firms, that is one more dream to come true.
In my free time, I am a passionate runner and a tennis player. For the past 10 years I took part in various social, sport and community fundraising events, such as Cancer Research, British Heart, Newham festival organiser. I also volunteered as a driver at the Olympics in 2012, which was the unforgettable experience for me.
I have also developed a free General English language course for Russian speakers with its first edition launch in September 2010. It contains the interactive and user friendly mode to study online. Project called "LanguagePro" with web-page www.languagepro.co.uk and has over 20,000 subscribers from all parts of the former USSR countries.
